A very fun to the heart book, that takes a very serious topic and helps all understand some of the d

This book was given to me as a present from one of my patients that has type 1 diabetes. I am a pharmacist diabetes educator (CDE). It is a series of narrated cartoons that brings very serious problems that occur with patients who have diabetes to light, in a light and funny way. Haidee did a wonderful job illustrating the difficulties these patients face with good spirit and humor. I'm going to recommend it to my patients.

A must have for those living with diabetes

I thoroughly enjoyed this quick read by Haidee Soule Merrit. While there are plenty of things that suck about being diabetic (I have lived with diabetes for 29 years), Haidee presents comic after comic of smirks and grins, displaying wonderful creations of situations many of us have lived through. There's a certain comfort in being able to relate like that.
