Want freedom? Do you truly desire to be free from depression, nursing it no more? One word, Jesus. He is the way, the truth and the life. I grabbed a hold of this truth and never let go of it. Through the darkness, through the test, through the trials, God kept me. He continued to call me His own, He called me His beloved. It was the "loudest quiet" I have ever heard. His songs of love over me, I literally heard these beautiful songs of love in my heart when I could barely look at myself in the mirror! God loved me still. He is the reason I am still breathing. There were moments when I felt as if I would slip away. No one wants to talk about these things, but it exists. And, denial is not the way out of it.
