One Bad Fur Day

By K. Trap Jones

THE STORM IS COMING. THE BAYOU IS FULL OF BEASTS. AND SHERIFF SID HAS A SCORE TO SETTLE.

When a category 5 hurricane tears through the Louisiana bayous, the world Sheriff Sid knows begins to collapse. Floodwaters rise, the landscape turns treacherous, and the creatures lurking in the backwaters reveal just how vicious they can be.

But the storm is only the beginning.

After a brutal assault on his wife, Sid finds himself plunged into a nightmare of betrayal, bloodshed, and revenge. Standing in his way are voodoo-priestess snakes, a ruthless junkyard raccoon, treacherous badgers, and a pack of power-hungry alligators determined to rule the chaos.

As the violence escalates and the bayou becomes a hunting ground, Sid must fight to reclaim what was taken from him. With his authority slipping away and danger lurking around every bend, the embattled sheriff faces a brutal question: how far will he go to get even?

Welcome to the dark side of the animal kingdom, where the swamp is unforgiving, loyalty is scarce, and survival comes at a terrible price.
