This was the last of her citizens police academy series. i was hoping that it would continue because they were all good. Roberta Myers is a police officer with the Lakewood police department. She is a single mom raising her young daughter. She meets Holden Thomas who is a youth minister who runs a shelter for young teens to keep them off the streets. He is raising his young niece after his sister died of a drug overdose. They meet during a raid and eventually fall in love. He doesn't like the fact that she's a police officer and wants her to quit her job but of course she's adamant that she is not quitting. Robbie's daughter and Holden's niece become the best of friends and plot to get them to get married. it's so obvious what the girls are doing but the adults have no clue. I don't want to give too much away but you'll have to take my word for it and just get the book and read it for yourself!!! Gauranteed you will enjoy it and pick up her other citizens policy academy books as well!!!
