Oddly Really sweet and Endearing

This book holds the entire story. Really thick book. The book is oddly sweet. I fell in love with the leads, their little girl included. They have the typical marriage except she is an alien. The relationship is already in full swing as it starts, but you see the two grow as it progresses and unless you are cold hearted, they will melt your heart as you read and watch their exploits. Overall this is one of the few series I, and I don't use this phrase freely, needs an anime adaption.
