Life taught me to be humble. I look at myself from the outside in, from the inside out, and from the inside to the inside, and whenever I do, sometimes with clarity and sometimes with a dirty lens, there I find myself, in pain or joy, and sometimes in both. And when I feel it is better to give up than to insist, my inner voice tells me that I have more strength than the mind believes. That to believe in my roar is to believe in God, that endless Source, and so I allow God to be my connecting link with myself, with others and with life.
