Nourishment for the Soul

Come on this health journey with me! Let us "nourish our souls" first & foremost! Let us pray for spiritual hunger. Listen to Jesus' Words:

Matthew 4:4 - Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.'"
Yes, we need food to live, but Jesus tells us we need to listen & grasp every word He has for us. We need the nutrition of His Word! We need to meditate on His thoughts & will for us. God wants to "fill us up" with the Word of God. Let's not think of comfort foods or comforts of this world, but let us put first & foremost the comfort found in our Savior's love for us. Start your day & then throughout your day, focus on His love for you. Let His comfort, His Love & precious promises fill you up!

It is my prayer that you find "nourishment for the soul" in the pages presented in this book. Read one passage a day & meditate on that scripture verse throughout your day. As the days unfold, go back & reread previous passages. Say them to yourself. Get God's Word in your heart! Nourish your soul in God's commandments & promises!! Let's pray, practice & digest His Words for our lives!
