Armed conflict in the DRC causes suffering whose effects extend beyond the direct victims to their descendants. This reality raises the question of the reparability of transgenerational harm in the face of the classic requirements of causality. The study examines this issue in the light of the FONAREV law and the FRIVAO decree, inspired by the jurisprudence of the ICC and the ICJ, marked by a more flexible approach to proof based on the presumption of causality.
