In the 1970s, Lesley McGrath Woodley was the inaugural schools and camps worker for Uni?n B?blica (Scripture Union) in Peru. When she left Peru in 1981, about two hundred children were involved in school and camp activities. She returned to Australia with a sense of abject failure.

In 2006, Lesley was invited to speak at a Uni?n B?blica conference in Lima, Peru. She was astonished by what she discovered.
