For years I ignored the signs in my body telling me to slow down and listen until a terminal illness led me on a challenging journey towards deep awakening, trust and spiritual healing.

Like many people in this modern world, I was disconnected from myself, my family, the natural world, actually from most things that really mattered. Distracted by career, technology, money, possessions and social norms, many have lost the connection to our true Self because of the societal pressures to conform to the system. By keeping so busy, we easily lose touch with our true Selves. But it is always here, present within us, even when we are not.

My body kept tapping me on the shoulder, telling me to slow down and listen but I was too busy... a convenient excuse. It was cancer that eventually forced me to take notice. At the age of 53, everything changed as my eyes were opened for the first time. I could never have imagined the incredible journey I was about to begin that would challenge every convention in my structured world. We have all been wearing blinkers.

It is time to wake up. Life is way beyond anything we could have ever imagined.
