Taking your fate in your own paws

This is an inspiring tale of a motley crew of animals who, whisked away from an animal shelter in the dead of night, take their fate into their own paws (need I say it is told from their point of view?). Despite hardship and trauma, by working together most of them make it back to the shelter and some are eventually adopted into loving families.

Wonderful Book for Pet Lovers

I highly recommend this book for all pet lovers of any age. The author does a great job of creating realistic personalities for her characters that are recognizable to most pet owners. My husband and I read the book within days of its arrival, and both of us were completely wrapped up in the story. The tale moves very quickly, it addresses problems familiar to the casual pet owner, the dedicated shelter volunteer, and most importantly to the "extra" pets who are hoping to find a real family. I will be buying extra copies for gifts. You should, too!
