Ms. Dunaway brings us the last installment in her American Beauties series with Nine Months' Notice. Unwilling to settle for less than the true love she's seen her friends achieve, Tori Adams leaves her job and her lover of two years, Jeff Wright. But she unknowingly takes a part of him with her - his baby. Jeff determines to win her back, to prove he can be a good father and a good husband. To do this, he'll have to change his workaholic ways. Unfortunately, Tori fears he's only pursuing her because of the baby, a claim he can't altogether deny. His tenacity and her strong will provide an enjoyable clash of personalities. Nine Months' Notice revisits the Roses, sorority sisters who became close friends. Although at different stages in their individual lives - marrying, dating, becoming pregnant - these women support each other through it all. Even if you haven't read Ms. Dunaway's other American Beauties titles, you won't have any trouble following the story.
