Never Forgotten

By: Scapin, Suria

"An affecting and profound story that's also lovely to look at." - Kirkus Reviews (starred review)

Never Forgotten is a poetic picture book that explores the power of memory and the bonds that connect generations.

Through tender narration, a young girl recalls her grandmother, weaving together images, stories, and feelings that keep her presence alive even after she is gone.

The book gently introduces children to the themes of remembrance, legacy, and love that transcends absence. Rather than focusing on loss, it highlights the ways we carry our loved ones with us-through gestures, traditions, and the memories that shape who we are.

With lyrical language and evocative illustrations, Never Forgotten becomes both a celebration of family ties and an invitation to honor those who came before us. It offers families a way to talk about grief and memory with children in a comforting and meaningful way.
