I have seldom ever felt so seen while reading.

An incredible read. Light hearted but serious and real. Insightful and witty. A true deep dive into the mental gymnastics that trans women have to dedicate themselves to deconstruct in order to feel justified in our lives. This book spoke to the woman I am today at 29, as well as a long sealed part of me from my younger years. I love the way the book is written, the general structure and the way the third person narration blends seamlessly into the MC inner monologue's. I love how the dialogue all feels so real and intimate. If you're trans you must read this book, even if you don't like it you will almost definitely get something out of the experience of reading it.

Imogen Binnie is the light of my life and I absolutely love her writing. This book was a fast read, and I could hardly put it down. A very must read for young trans people.
