Excellent preparation tool.

The practice CD that comes with this book is a fine study tool for Exam N10-003. When I installed the disk, I was given the option to download the update to the question base. I'm assuming that some of the questions others have complained about were corrected with the update. I couldn't find any wrong answers, and the explanations were right on target. These questions serve to drive Network+ concepts home. They may not be the exact questions that are on the actual test, but they sure do help in preparing you for the exam.

Lots of great material, great price

I buy my own study materials, so price is important. This is the best deal I've found anywhere. I've bought a couple other Network+ books and you shouldn't buy anything but this exam cram by Mike Harwood. Also, shop around for practice questions -- tough to find 500 for only $10-12, which is what you get with this package. I found some errors and emailed hte publisher, who emailed me right away -- I was VERY impressed with that; they are obviously working hard to please us -- and said all fixes are at www.examcram2.com. I notice they have all their errata posted almost immeidately. Ideally, there are no mistakes ever, and it's frustrating, but let's be realistic, they do happen, and I'm more than pleased with the customer support I got. And MeasureUp has already fixed hte CD, because a buddy bought this on my recommendation and we noticed his CD questions have already been fixed. While I was poking around the exam cram site, I also noticed they have Network+ test vouchers for only $150! That's at least $25 cheaper than everywhere else I shopped.

Great inexpensive test prep

I purchased the Exam Cram 2 Network+ and the companion Network+ 500 Practice Questions Book. The 500 Practice questions on the cd were great way to test and increase your knowledge before taking the test. I passed the Network+ without a problem. The practice question book and cd would have received 5 stars but there were 11 questions with wrong answers and there was no way to update the data base online as most other cd study guides allow.

Good but not enough

The questions are good and cover a lot of what's on the test. The CD that came with my book "Measure UP" was really good except for some incorrect answers and some typos. Usually if you select the actual correct answer it will show that you got it wrong, but if you read the description of the answer, you did in fact answer the question correctly. I took the exam on 9/10/04 and passed with a 740 out of 900 (646 is passing) Even though this is the only thing I purchased and studied to pass my exam, I must state that if I didn't have a few years of network administration/troubleshooting under my belt I probably wouldn't be able to pass this exam. Again, I think this is an excellent book and more than half of the questions that I saw on the test were covered in these practice questions, but you will need to either read additional material for those lacking in experience, or you will need a couple years of troubleshooting under your belt to help you out. Thanks Exam Cram for your study guides and techniques. I'm off to go get my CCNA next!!
