A Wondrously Gripping Adventure Story!

Edwin Spina's Mystic Warrior: A Novel Beyond Time and Space, is a wondrously gripping adventure story unlike any other I've ever read. Although I was at first somewhat skeptical about the mystical, Matrix-like element, by the end of the first chapter I was already so completely engrossed in the story that I felt I could not put it down! This was due in large part to Spina's storytelling voice, which is paradoxically, both calming and engaging. The plot was believably laid out, the settings well-defined, and the characters were portrayed so well that you felt like you were hearing a story about some acquaintances of yours. I thoroughly enjoyed Spina's first novel, and look forward to hearing his next story.
