My Very, Very, Very Long First Day of Kindergarten
The first day of kindergarten is a VERY big day-especially when it seems to last forever
For one excited little girl, the adventure begins before she even leaves home. She gets dressed, eats breakfast, packs her lunch, and walks to the bus stop with Mom. Then it's time to climb aboard the big yellow school bus and head toward a whole new world.
At kindergarten, everything is new. There's a classroom to explore, a teacher to meet, new friends to make, and so many exciting things to see and do. From learning classroom routines and enjoying lunch to playing with classmates and experiencing all the surprises of a busy school day, every moment brings something new.
There are exciting moments, nervous moments, happy moments, and moments when she wonders if this very long day will ever end
But when the school day is finally over and she arrives home, she has plenty to tell Mom about her unforgettable adventure.
My Very, Very, Very Long First Day of Kindergarten is a warm and reassuring illustrated picture book that captures the excitement, uncertainty, friendship, and fun of one of childhood's biggest milestones.
With colorful watercolor-style illustrations and a relatable story, this book can help children become familiar with what they might experience as they prepare for their own first day of school.
