In the 1820s, Cuban is still a colony of the Spanish Crown. Slavery is illegal, and yet it persists. There is constant tension between the colonists, the slaves and the corrupt Spanish officials. In the small town of La Palma, a 16 year old youth lived a relatively normal life. His peaceful existence is turned upside down, when a stranger washes ashore. This stranger is a blonde man named Valerio, who claims to be a vampire. Ambrosio, like his peers, doesn't believe in vampires. They are modern, Enlightened men. The so called vampire, is being hounded by the Spanish Inquisition. He fled to Cuba to escape persecution. Follow Ambrosio as he tries to protect and befriend the injured vampire, Valerio.
