My Unforgettable Childhood

Our family was very poor, and we didn't have a lot. But we embraced each other with an abundance of love. There were many times when we were separated from each other, but God would always bring us back together. We went through the ins and the outs, and we experienced our ups and downs. Yet, as we look back on our childhood days now, as adults, we can always say God was there with us in every way.
Ours is a family that expresses exactly what my grandfather, Fred, used to say, "We came up on the rough side of the mountain." I say, To God be the glory that we reached the mountaintop, and we are walking in victory
