My Teacher Can't Draw

By Na Zhang

My Teacher Can't Draw is a warm and funny picture book that celebrates creativity, kindness, and seeing strengths beyond imperfections.

The teacher in this story can do many wonderful things. She tells beautiful stories, writes graceful Chinese characters, tells the best jokes, and plays games with her students. But there is one thing she cannot do very well... she can't draw

Sometimes she turns a person into a puppet, a bird into a chick, a soccer ball into a steamed bun, and a house into a hat. Her drawings are silly and surprising-but they always make her students laugh.

Through gentle humor and heartfelt moments, this story reminds children that nobody is perfect, and that being kind, joyful, and caring matters far more than being good at everything.

Perfect for ages 3-8, classrooms, bedtime reading, and families who love stories filled with laughter and warmth.
