Awesome Book!

I love this series! This book was different from the other 3 in the series, but it was awesome! I would recomend these books to everyone! Cant wait to read the next one!

Unlike most, I loved it.

Unlike what most are saying, I really liked this book. In the first chapter, I didn't think I would. I normally do not like the scifi stuff. But, I figured I would give it a shot. It won me over. The characters grew on me and I ended up really caring how the story ended. Don't let the 'outside the box' thinking of this one turn you off. It is really good. YOu just have to have an open mind with it. I applaud the originality of it!

Kudos to Ms. Foster

Typically I don't care much for time travel romances, but Lori Foster is one of my auto-buys for a reason. I know a lot of people have expressed disapointment with her decision to try something a bit different, but I decided to reserve judgement until I had read the book. While contemporaries are most assuredly Ms. Foster's forte, it is also fun to watch an established author stretch their wings and try something a bit different. Well, it is fun when it works out OK anyway. And My Man, Michael does work out quite well. Ms. Foster's trademark characterization works just as well when she throws in a few futuristic gadgets and geegaws to play with. Motivations are pretty much the same no matter the time period, and it is the motivation of Ms. Foster's characters that drive me to keep coming back to her books. So, kudos to Lori Foster for stepping outside of her comfort zone, and delivering a very enjoyable read.

My Man Michael by Lori Foster takes a different turn in her latest SBC fighter series. Michael "Mallet" Manchester was inches away from the SBC championship fight when a terrible car accident changed everything. With his leg beyond repair Mallet doesn't know what direction his live is headed. Suddenly there is a strange woman in his hospital room. She is offering him a 2nd chance to be whole again. Kayli Raine has traveled from the future to find a warrior to help her colony survive. She offers Mallet a complete recovery if he comes back to her time 2220 to teach her people how to conquer their enemies. Kayli knows her place in her world and Mallet is not for her. He frustrates her at every turn with his Alpha ways. But he also makes her heart beat like no other man. Mallet always had a way with women but soon realizes Kayli is more then hi equal. They both learn to compromise in order to help save Kayli's world. My Man Mallet if funny, sexy and a delight. The time travel is handled with exceptional style and flair. Its an added treat to a wonderful story.
