Terryl Ann Harvey was born in Portland, Oregon on October 16, 1954 with fluid in her lungs. Doctors worked energetically to save both Terryl and her mother, Carol. Carol made a complete recovery, but after a year of slow development, the pediatrician advised that Terry had cerebral palsy and that her future development could not be predicted. My Life Inside Cerebral Palsy is the story of that struggle in Terrys own words. As an adult, she has had to deal with the loss of three people she loved; her mother, brother, and husband.
