This book is filled with personal poems of the battle that was endured within my head. The poems reflect the struggle within myself in the first two years of counseling. Severe PTSD, depression, and anxiety are the enemies that I was fighting in my poems. My reflection of my Military, Law Enforcement and my childhood are painted within the words. The book illustrates the love for my family and the struggle of dealing with my PTSD the past two years. Most of all my book showcases the struggle of facing darkness and the understanding that darkness is needed to appreciate a sunrise.
