Gathering courage, and with a little encouragement from her mother, she finally speaks up. She explains that Mindy is her friend and gently asks her mother to let the fly go. Despite her dislike for flies, the mother agrees.
In that moment, the girl learns a powerful lesson: speaking up can save what matters, even when it's difficult. She realises that if she had stayed silent, Mindy would have been lost-and so would a friendship. From then on, she promises herself to always find her voice.
