## *My Cousin Is a Monkey: The Mingo Bigfoot Sighting*

What happens when a young Bigfoot meets a lost monkey in the middle of the Appalachian woods? **One seriously wild adventure **

JJ is a young Bigfoot who knows the forest like the back of his... well, **enormous hand**. But when he discovers Hoovie, a clever little capuchin monkey who has lost his way home, JJ suddenly has a new mission: **get Hoovie back to his best friend and owner, Shell.**

There's only one problem. Finding home isn't as easy as Hoovie thinks.

Along the way, JJ teaches Hoovie about wild animals, plants, streams, tracks, and surviving in the forest. But Hoovie has a few lessons of his own to teach JJ, including one that JJ absolutely refuses to believe:

**Bigfeet can climb trees.**

As the two unlikely friends trek through the Mingo wilderness, their adventure attracts the attention of hikers, reporters, and curious locals. Soon, rumors of a mysterious monkey and a giant creature roaming the woods explode into what everyone is calling **The Mingo Bigfoot Sighting **

Packed with **laugh-out-loud humor, friendship, mystery, adventure, Appalachian wildlife, and plenty of Bigfoot-sized fun**, *My Cousin Is a Monkey* is a story kids will want to read again and parents will enjoy reading right alongside them.

Because sometimes the best friendships are the ones you never saw coming...

**Especially when your new best friend has a tail, your feet are enormous, and absolutely nobody believes your story.**
