Gorgeous, Informative Book

I would expect nothing less from these two renowned wildlife photographers. The photos take your breath away, while showing precise behaviours. Along with valuable information, there is much that is poignant in the book. The mustangs' struggles as exposed by the photographers' images and text are almost unbearable. As a wildlife photographer myself, I've finally started to photograph wild horses. Thanks to this book, I've ben able to identify behaviours I've seen and photographed.

This is a captivating book. It is full of sensational and moving images of horses. The writing too is done by the photographer/authors...These two French people are clearly biologist/naturalists and true lovers of these horses, who know them better than anyone. They have lived with them for more than five years, intensely studying and photographing them. The book is an utterly beautiful and riveting look into the lives of these majestic animals. It has been a phenominal best selling book in France, which is why is is available here, translated into impecable English. When you have absorbed the beauty and information in this book, you will be moved and changed by the experience; you will have become an expert in horses.
