Murder in The Flint Hills

By Clint Clay

Queen City is growing fast-and so is the bloodshed. Sheriff Ben Josephs has barely pinned on the badge when an ambush leaves two men dead at his cabin and confirms what he already suspects: the county's outlaws are organized, desperate, and willing to kill anyone who threatens their grip on the Flint Hills.

With trusted deputies at his side, Ben strikes at hidden stills, cattle thieves, corrupt lawmen, and a ruthless criminal network protected by respectable names. But every arrest exposes a deeper secret, every victory creates a new enemy, and a trail of old murders begins to point toward crimes the county has buried for years.

As gunfire erupts across snowy streets, lonely ranches, and the open prairie, Ben must protect the woman he loves, hold his friends together, and decide how far an honest lawman can go before justice becomes vengeance. In the Flint Hills, reputations are built with courage, fortunes are made in blood, and the dead do not surrender their secrets easily.
