Muhyo and Roji are connected on a soul level.

4.5* stars. Our favorite supernatural crime-fighting Duo has had their share of ups and Downs, but will their last battle prove more adversarial to their bond, then an actual danger to others? Thankfully, when against their strongest enemy yet, Roji manages to awaken Muhyo from his comatose-like slumber, but will it be too late to save all magic law practitioners from Vector's melancholic desires? I'm really glad that the intensity of the last battle stopped 2 chapters in and let things calm down before the true final chapter of the series, it gave much better closure than other series that are intense up to the final 5 pages then everything is calm, and you feel like, "what just happened?" The pacing was phenomenal throughout most of the series, from individual cases per chapter to story arcs spanning multiple volumes. Character development was fantastic for Roji, and even Muhyo and some of the side characters. This series truly let their individuality and personalities shine through the story and the artwork. And the envoys, oh, don't get me started! They are all so unique, it's fun to see their designs, and it was pretty interesting when the series showed how the contracts are made between magic law practitioners and envoys. Muhyo & Roji's Bureau of Supernatural Investigation is a hilarious romp about friendship, right and wrongs, and how everyone deserves a second chance if they're willing to do the right thing. I love this series and will recommend it to anyone. Particularly those who love comedy with a bit of drama and anyone with a hint of supernatural love.
