Mudita Magazine is a women-owned publication that focuses on self-care practices, mental health, physical wellness, yoga, sustainable living, healthy recipes, and artwork from artists across the globe. 2 percent of every magazine sale is donated to a new non-profit each quarter. What started as a passion project between two of the founders during yoga instructor training, developed into a community project. Later, three women joined forces to share their expertise, with a commitment to spreading wellness. To honor their study of yoga, its deep historical and spiritual significance, and the connection of the physical, spiritual, and emotional body as one, Mudita was chosen as the name of the publication as it is Sanskrit for: taking delight in the happiness of others. As a wellness publication, the goal is to share all things good that can benefit community members and the environment.
