Mr. Biggs and the Miracle Pony is about a horse who thinks he's not important because he's not a pony. This story shows that it's OK to use your strengths and be who you are, even if it's not who you want to be. In Mr. Biggs' mind, ponies are the most important creatures in the world. No one wants to ride a big horse like Mr. Biggs. But when he is taken to a new farm, there are no ponies around. He is confused, and it takes a newcomer, a rescue pony named Snickers, to help him figure it out. When Snickers is really in trouble, it is just what Mr. Biggs hates most about himself that saves her. Snickers teaches Mr. Biggs that he has a special place in the world and can be useful, even to a pony.
