Mother Nature's Christmas Tree

Families who put up Christmas trees need this story! It is Christmas time and the pine trees are sprucing up. They are cleaning nests from their branches, patching holes in their trunks, and telling the forest animals to find other places to live. Why? Mother Nature will visit soon to choose the most spectacular tree as this year's Christmas tree. Mother Nature expects the trees to be clean, green, tall, and straight. This causes a problem for Selena Squirrel, Miss Chickadee, Momma Deer, and other animals of the forest. One tree, however, is willing to help. Little Pine tells the animals that he can be their new home. This fixes one problem, but causes another. Mother Nature does not like messy trees, and Little Pine is messy.
