Morgan's Wife

I am a die hard Lindsay McKenna fan and own a great many of her books. I read previous reader reviews of this book and was put off by the subject matter. I do have the whole series. I finally sat down and read the book and was surprised by how much I liked it after I read it. Too be sure, the idea of kidnapping and rape are horrible. The idea of such a terrible thing happening to Laura Treyhern is mind boggling but, bad horrible things do happen to people. The two lovers in this Jim Woodward and Pepper Sinclair. They get off to a bad start but learn to love each other. They have the problems of a dead love of Pepper's that puts off Jim and Jim's undying devotion to Laura that puts off Pepper. To say much more would give away the story. I will say that good triumphs over evil. I would encourage everyone to read this book and the rest of the books in this series.
