More That Smiley the Rescue Dog Didn't Know

By Olena Kagui

After finding safety, warmth, and a place to belong, Smiley's story doesn't end. Smiley keeps learning new things

In this second part of What Smiley the Rescue Dog Didn't Know, Smiley's adventure carries on as he discovers even more about life with a loving family. Through new experiences, gentle routines, and everyday moments of care, Smiley slowly learns the things he never knew before: that meals come regularly, that kind voices mean comfort, that play can be joyful, and that home is a place where he is truly safe.

This additional section deepens Smiley's journey of trust, healing, and love, recounting the many small lessons he learns along the way, from quiet companionship to the simple happiness of being understood.

Told with the same heartfelt tone as the original story, this continuation invites young readers to follow Smiley as he grows more confident, more curious, and more at ease in the world around him.

Because sometimes, the greatest adventures are not the loud ones, but the gentle, everyday discoveries of what it means to be loved.
