This book was Funny!!

This book was a riot. Cassidy Burke, along with her daughter, ex-boyfriend, her grandmother's friend, and the rest of the cast made this book. The story line kept you interested from start to finish. I can't wait until the next book comes out. I hope its as much fun as this one was.

Cassidy Burke owns a cleaning service. Things are going okay for Cassidy; she could use a few more jobs and more money, but she and her fifteen year old daughter Thea are happy, until Thea's father, sexy Logan Miller shows up. Cassidy never told Logan she was pregnant and Logan is not happy about finding out when his daughter is fifteen. Soon after Logan's arrival a strange old woman named Jasmine shows up telling Cassidy that she is a Demon Duster. Then, Cassidy gets a job working for the equally sexy and mysterious Devlin Cole. When Cassidy starts developing powers, she can't deny that she is the Duster. Cassidy has her hands full with a teenager, two sexy men and demons running through town threatening her and her daughter. More Than Fiends is a very funny and sexy romance. Demons, lovers, teenagers and a wise old lady make every page exciting and amusing. More Than Fiends is a very entertaining story. If you're looking for closure like I was though, you'll have to wait until March 2008 when A Fiend In Need is scheduled for release. One of these great guys is bound to get hurt then. Great book, can't wait until the next one comes out. Anyone who enjoys MaryJanice Davidson's Betsy the Vampire Queen books should love this one as well.

Hilarious, Sexy...a laugh on every page! I haven't laughted that much in a long time. You can NOT go wrong with this book. The world through Cassidy Burke's eye is a hoot and this 'can't miss' read is pure delight. Maureen Child's writing sparkles brilliantly, the story is fast and Cassidy is every woman... she's just faced with more problems than any of us could handle! I want more and can't wait for FIENDS IN NEED.

Cassie would much rather shop for a new Coach purse or eat some delicious chocolate than be trained to kill demons! After all, who in their right mind would actually believe that there is a vast population of demons in La Sombra, California? MORE THAN FIENDS is not strictly a romance in the usual sense. A romantic triangle is set up between Cassie, Devlin, and Logan Miller, Thea's father, but readers looking for a traditional romance will not find it here. Cassie is torn between her attraction to the two men and her openness regarding both her emotional and physical reactions to Devlin and Logan is refreshing. Maureen Childs joins the ranks of authors mixing paranormal romance and humor with MORE THAN FIENDS. Readers will relish this light-hearted tale as it is practically impossible not to laugh out loud at some of the situations in which Cassie finds herself.
