A Prize From Mize

I had the privilege of hearing Terry speak in the late 1970s and early 1980s, telling many of the stories of faith contained in this book. What an incredible life Terry and Jackie Mize have lived as missionaries to Mexico and the rest of the world. And many of their early stories on how they learned to trust God with every moment of their lives is in this easy to read, hard to put down book. Out of print but worth looking for and buying a used copy, More Than Conquerors shows how God showed Terry the truth about living in faith from an early age, without Bible college or going and seeing others preach about it. And you'll feel like you are there when he is healed of a progressive hearing disorder that is causing deafness, and after he picks up a hitchiker in Mexico who pulls a gun, attempts to rob him and then tries to kill him at point blank range. If you are walking in faith, or want and need to know more about the faith filled life in God, get More Than Conquerors. The Bible says that we overcome the world by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony. The testimonies in this book will help you become more than a conqueror!

Timeless classic: OVERCOMING FAITH

Terry Mize wrote only ONE book, way back in 1981, but it is a classic, that says it all. It is small, compact, easy to read, and it is all you will ever need to read as a Christian (aside from the Word of God) if you are serious about walking strongly with God. Some books never date, and simple cannot be improved on, and this is one of those little books, I have purchased several to hand onto the next generation of my family. It's a small gem.

A Must Read

An excellent book that shows how we are to watch what we say. It teaches you that you are to stand on the word and speak it out. For the tongue can speak life or death, blessings or curses. Which will you choose? Choose life.

You need to read this book!

Really enjoyed the way he saw the scriptures so real and made them real to me. I especially liked what he had to say about his attitude as a missionary and the way that it was building faith and you don't even know it. Someone who takes God at his word - by faith and not by sight!

More than conquerors

This is an excellent book it is very easy to read and it does not deal in far fetched idealistic thinking. It deals with true life experiences from a common man with proven faith. The book is one that you will want to recommend over and over to other people. I would recommend it to anyone who is going through a rough time. This book really puts things into perspective. It is so good that I have bought several copies myself and circulated it to different people. The other day I was walking down the hall and a lady asked me could I order 2 copies for her, they had heard so much about it.
