Reasons for Battles

1/11/01 I borrowed the book,"Monsters" from the Free Library of Philadelphia several years ago. It was authored by Vincent Price & his son.The contents of the book showing many examples of the victors and the vanquished, keep the theme of the need of those who've battled throughout history, claiming to have been on the defensive vs the offensive since Society ,generally speaking, does not approve of loss of lives and the other expenses of war being done due to the pompousness of its leaders.abj 1/11/01
