Momma's Purle was a book that I wished never ended. Bridget Davis put such detail and thought into her every word that it felt as if I knew the characters in the story forever. Although I have never been to Harlem, I felt like I have and feel as if I grew up with this family. Emotionaly moving, this book made me cry like no other book I have read before. This book is a must read! Bravo to Mrs. Davis for her first novel!I can't wait to see what she writes next! A+
Amazing Story

Momma's Purle first seemed like another story about Harlem. As I read on it really took my breath away. It opened up emotions that I had lost touch with. Mrs.Davis' choice of words was so elequently put together that I felt as if I were taking a stroll through Harlem along with these terrific characters. It was unfortunate that the reviewer below J.D. was not intelligent enough to use the proper grammer in her review of Momma's Purle, let alone criticize Mrs. Davis' creative use of words. I give J.D. one star for her worthless effort and I give Momma's Purle 5 stars for her talent & Creativity . Mrs. Davis you are truly gifted, and I cannot wait for your next book.
