Bad boys can be good

For any woman who's ever loved a loser--knowing he was, yet unable to stop--the opening of this book is delightful. Amelia Weatherbee, the plain, practical, successful entrepreneur of a botique in Hawaii, has always loved Fletcher, an easy-going, laid-back, over-aged surfer looking for the endless summer. Only when Amelia finds him with two naked beach bunnies, does she have the courage to leave him. She arrives in France to take title to the chateau left to her by her wealthy, widowed aunt, who'd married a count. Amelia meets Remy de Fournier, playboy extraordinaire, and the current comte who should have inherited the chateau. Still hurting from Fletcher's betrayal, she makes a deal with Remy. She will sell him the chateau if he makes her his mistress for a month and teaches her to be sexy, to which he agrees. But is Remy simply another Fletcher? Or will this playboy learn the real value of a woman's love? A very enjoyable read. Cynthia Breeding Historical romance author

well done

This story by Ann Major is one of the best of the kind. The characters of the protagonists are beautifully developed, and their transformation as the story progresses is not a matter of empty words, but you can really feel it. I really enjoy a storytelling where you get to feel the characters through their actions rather than have the writer tell me what they are; when the later is the case I feel as I am being robbed from the opportunity to explore and reach the decision myself. The story is not complex,in fact the back cover says it all. Yet it is eloquently told and I am glad I read it. I strongly recommend this book.

French Fantasy

Ann Major's latest book "Mistress For A Month" is great!!! Amelia Weatherbee inherits Remy de Fournier's family chateau. After an excitingly passionate night, Amelia agrees to sell the chateau back to notorious Remy only if she becomes his mistress for a month. Did Remy want just his inheritance or did he want more from Amelia? A French setting, a large inheritance, and the incredibly sexy Count Remy, what more could a reader want?
