Phenomenal...

Soon, however, Richard and Holly will be thrown together in a life or death situation that could change them both forever... if they survive. MISSION: MOUNTAIN RESCUE is powerful on so many levels. First and foremost, it is an incredible story of the power of love and how it can conquer anything. But Amy Andrews takes things far deeper than making this a story about the power of love. This is also a story about conquering fears and about seeing people as individuals rather than as a group, particularly in the midst of war or rebellion. Amy Andrews does such a beautiful job with character development. Richard initially seems so cold and hard that I wondered how I'd ever warm up to him. But as the story unfolds, Richard's character begins to blossom as the pain he's kept inside begins to show. Holly also begins to develop as a character as she has to deal with such a traumatic experience, one that forces her to look beyond her own fears so as to cope. What a heart she has! The most touching part of the story, however, is the aspect about the rebels. I don't want to give any spoilers away but just will say I'm thoroughly impressed with the impartiality that Amy Andrews displays as she shows the various sides of the issue, from characters such as John to ones like Kia. And who could resist shedding a tear over Tundol's story? MISSION: MOUNTAIN RESCUE is a phenomenal story.
