A lovely tribute to "Murphy's Law"

I really liked this book.Miss Felicia For- tune is a true country Miss who has been assisting her Uncle who was injured in the peninsular cam- paign,i.e.lost his arm. Before the wars he was an architect and builder.He has taken a commission to build a retreat for the wife of his best friend,a woman he at one time had feelings for. The young major who saved his life is also a builder and is working with Felicia's uncle on the project. They are doing okay until unseen troubles affect the site and then "Murphy's Law" takes over.
