Marjorie Craig is the originator of sound, safe, effective exercise for women. Nowadays, there are so many glossy releases with gimmicks galore--steps, large balls, machines---and ever more taxing, spartan drills. Through it all, Miss Craig endures---just one lovely little lady with her mat, tennis ball and light weights. No expensive outfits, screaming color glossies or new fangled gadgets. Miss Craig's routines feel good and they work. She is well-educated in her field (physical therapy). And, gee, for 38-cents used, you can't go wrong.

Scared of all the punching, flinging, and dancing of current exercise programs? My parents are in their late 60s, and find this low-joint stressing Shape-Up Program to be right down their alley. Most of the excercises are done on a mat and the required equipment are: a tennis ball, a pair of 3-lb dumbbells, and a folded-up towel. Even the elderly may find this program to be beneficial.
