Sweet Story

This book in the Lone Star Jewels series, is the story of the local doctor (the man) and a local cop (the woman). In the beginning, she mistakes his marriage proposals and come-ons as teasing and she in turn teases back. She secretly wishes it was more, but so does he. When they finally realize there's something there she is frightened because she believes him to be a firm bachelor and she doesn't want to get heart broken. Oh yeah, someone leaves a baby on her doorstep and the both fall in love with the child. This is a sweet love story you will enjoy as long as you don't expect too much out of it.
