Millennium Prophecies Unlocked' forms a series of volumes of commentaries serving to introduce and explain Hebrew and Christian Bible prophecies that relate to the path of the current age, the end of the present season and the carrying across into the new age. Verses and short passages are discussed using an unsensational style of interpretation, the writings of various prophets being discussed in the order in which they were written. This reveales the unfolding Judeo-Christian narrative with regard to the course of this present age and the crossing over into the new season. These prophecies have in many ways remained 'sealed' - such that they have often seemed somewhat obscure with regard to their specific meaning. In the past this obscurity has led to some mistaken and exaggerated interpretations of these texts. More recently however, these writings are beginning to be 'unlocked' - so as to give up their various meanings more clearly. This suggests that the prophesied events are drawing near. Volume one looks at prophecies in Amos, Hosea, Joel, Isaiah, Micah and Habakkuk to present an expansive, coherent, integrated overview of the divine plan for humanity, and especially for Jews. Subsequent volumes will continue this chronological presentation and go on to look at Jeremiah, Ezekiel and other Hebrew prophets, ultimately moving into relevant portions of the New Testament Apostolic writings. Although serving as a modern introduction to this prophetic literature, these studies are intended for group leaders, pastors, students of theology and those eager to learn. They are not 'entry level' primers. Rather they assume a certain degree of maturity and education in the Jewish or Judeo-Christian faith. They are written from a viewpoint that regards Scripture as a coherent integrated set of documents that serve as a reliable rule for faith and behaviour. Drawing from original Hebrew and Greek texts and various translations, commentaries, lexicons and word studies, these volumes offer a new, amplified translation of the texts being commented on. Author Robert Laynton has been a Christian for over fifty years. He has an Honours degree majoring in Psychology, Post Graduate qualifications in Counselling, and has studied Mysticism and Transpersonal Psychology. He continues to study various aspects of Christian teaching and practice.
