Absurd and surreal comic strips featuring the boy with a splitting headache and his nameless protagonist, as well as the further adventures of forty year old businessman trapped in the body of a child... This description may be from another edition of this product.
I still have the copy I read when it first came out, and I'm thinking Fiering was ahead of his time here, humor-wise... or my sense of humor is stuck in the past. Definitely one of those. But... if you like quirky, elliptical, off-beat weirdness this is a solid bet.
the best headache you'll ever have

This comic strip was brought to my attention via REM's "Monster", many years ago. That horrible excuse for a CD was good for at least one thing! The evil twin of Charlie Brown, Migraine Boy never gets a break, but that doesn't stop him from taking his frustrations out on all the neighborhood kids who bug him. These strips have varying styles of humor - alternately twisted, violent, morbid, one-liner, and deadpan. The art looks like it was drawn by someone actually suffering from a migraine: very frantic scribbling, wavy lines... all the better to convey the special atmosphere of this strip. Give it a try!
