Midnight Song: One Woman's Path to Freedom

Faye Collins is a well-known public speaker and published author. She has two sons, Chavis G. Collins in South Carolina and Isaiah Collins, who currently lives in Michigan. She lives with her husband, Pastor Tonnie Lee Collins in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Mrs. Collins's life is God-centered; as a pastor's wife she is involved with missionary work, serves as a Sunday school teacher, an educator, and a life coach and counselor. She is also involved in the Deaf community in her area and serves as a freelance interpreter for the Deaf, using ASL, American Sign Language. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Limestone College in South Carolina and a Master of Arts degree in Human Service Counseling from Liberty University in Virginia. Known as the "People's First Lady," she enjoys conducting workshops, leading prayer retreats, and speaking at women's conferences. Mrs. Collins is currently writing a children's book to be released next year. Her hobbies include gardening, playing her piano, and writing. Midnight Song, inspired by true events, is a work of fiction based on historical facts. It is the initial historical novel for Mrs. Collins. "A person has the choice to forgive, ifnot; harboring un-forgiveness is a needless task that deprives people of healing from wounds that expose bitterness and resentment in their lives. There is a deeper purpose of this book that focuses on acceptance, forgiveness, and love. Midnight Song is a book about the injustices and cruelty of the Jim Crow south during a racial divided society in the 1940's. Ella Jane Mitchell, the heroine of the story, is a woman who escapes a chain gain prison farm to reunite with her children with the help of a mysterious traveler." Faye B. Collins
