MCSE Training Kit Windows 2000 Professional

I passed the certification test with no problem. This is a very good book and covers all the material you need to pass. It is however written on a college level. If you are not a good reader this is not the book for you.

The computer industry is constantly changing and evolving andas such so is operating systems. Microsoft is leading the way withtheir newest release Windows 2000 built on the NT Technology. Microsoft is also leading the way in training software to help you gain the upper hand in the certification process.This training kit is tailored made for the Windows 2000 Installing, Configuring and Administration exam as the kit follows each and every exam objective. The kit is made to be used as a self-paced learn at your own speed package.The whole kit is detailed and will make the learning process easier as the company that brought you the software writes it. Most training packages I have seen cover the exam, what makes this one different is the fact that this package lays out the exam in an easy to follow format.With hands-on and practice examples the user has everything you need to make sure you are ready for the live exam. Topics such as Installation, Configuration, administration, TCP/IP, file encryption and troubleshooting are but a few of the areas covered. The book includes review questions to gauge the learning process. What might be need in the next release is a cd with practice questions and even an interactive learning program. Not for the Newbie

This book is well written with clear, concise language. It is presented in a logical fashion and is a much better read that the NT 4 kits. I will say however that you do need some experience or already have your NT 4 MCSE to get the most out of it. The book itself states that the intended audience are IT professionals and that a prerequisite is "A knowledge of the fundamentals of current networking technology is required" Unlike the NT 4 track, which you can be a newbie and get through it, I think MS has raised the bar on this one (Win2k). If you meet the requirements I wholeheartedly recommend this book. Whether or not it is sufficient to pass the exam remains to be seen.

the best book for learn windows 2000 professional.

i am mcse of windows nt 4.0 and i read this book and he is coverd all you need to know for pass rhe 70-210 exam. but, i recommnded that you will be expiriance beafore you'l take this exam. ( this book is not for the beginners ).
