Mia and Nattie: One Great Team! is proof that Marlene M. Bell can write in any genre. I have had the pleasure of reading her suspense novels and was excited to find out that has written a children’s book. This is such a sweet little story that teaches young ones some very important lessons. Some adults could learn them, as well. I was surprised to find out that it was based on a true story about a sheep named Natalie. I love that we can find some amazing ways of how that being different is okay and to be passionate of others who are. Mia and Nattie: One Great Team! is illustrated by the talented Grace Sandford. The pictures are eye catching and easily keeps young readers engaged. I love seeing her vision of what Mia and Nattie are like. It was a bonus to see an actual photograph of what the real sweet Nattie looks like. It is such a wonderful way to warm one’s heart. Mia and Nattie: One Great Team! will be getting a very well deserved five plus stars from me. I highly recommend this heart warming tale for readers who are four to eight years old. I look forward to passing my copy on to my son’s classroom library. I am so excited to be able to share this sweet story with other children his age. I received Mia and Nattie: One Great Team! from the publisher. This review is one hundred percent my own honest opinion.
