Excellent and Informative

I bought this book (actually, a couple of copies) last summmer. As a mother of a 16 year old son who became involved in crystal meth, I was axious to read anything I could find on the subject. This book is a quick and informative read. The author is a fire chief who has researched this growing and dangerous epidemic, and has seen the effects in his line of work. This book is full of important information -- from the dangerous effects on the environment and neighborhoods,to the dangerous and disasterous effects on the overall health and well-being of individuals who come into contact with such a drug. I've read several books on the subject (which I plan to write reviews on eventually). I give this one 5 stars. It has all the important information condensed into an easy to read and easy to understand resource on the subject. This is the book that gave me a quick wealth of knowledge when I needed it most. In fact, both my copies are gone and I'll probably order more. I've passed mine on to other parents in need.
