A decent dictionary for beginners but with a major caveat

I think this is a good little dictionary for beginners trying to learn Spanish (of which I am). HOWEVER, even though I tried to be as thorough as possible looking up reviews, there's still something glaring that I managed to overlook 😫(especially because it's stated on the actual cover 🤦‍♀️, but probably because I was looking up several similar dictionaries and they all just blurred together). IMPORTANT: This is dictionary is PRIMARILY meant to be used by SPANISH-SPEAKERS learning ENGLISH, although it CAN definitely be used by English-speakers learning Spanish (especially those who are not doing much reading). As such, 2/3rds of this dictionary is English-Spanish, and only 1/3rd is Spanish-English. ALSO IMPORTANT: The Spanish-English section is SMALLER TEXT than the already small text of the English-Spanish section! Also, there is no delineation of the alphabet in the Spanish-English section either. Ex: "B" has it's last 6 entries at the top of the page and the rest of the page is all "C's." It's easy enough to find because of what I'll call the "guide words" at the top of each page, but all this just goes to show that this dictionary isn't primarily meant to look up Spanish words for the English meanings. DETAILS: The English-Spanish section DOES delineate the alphabet, but not at the start of a new page unless it happens to work out that way (which seems common in these travel-sized versions). It's easy to locate where the Spanish-English section is when skimming the pages because of the black band at the edge of the page. So I don't have to do that every time, I put a sticky tab there to find it quickly. The dictionary has a couple of pages on how to use the it + abbreviation meanings, but no other reference material is provided. The pages are sown together, rather than just glued, which makes this much more durable. I find the layout nice and easy to read + find what I'm looking for. I have average size hands for a woman and I can hold it just fine in one hand, but if your hands are on the smaller side, or you're wanting to use it with small kids, it might be a bit of a struggle. I took sections + gently broke them in so it's much easier to open. FINAL THOUGHTS: This dictionary could be good for you, but it depends on what you're looking for and your needs. As a mid-level beginner I will get good use out of this (especially because I'm wanting to hold off on reading for a bit), but it means that in time I'll need to look for another dictionary with a larger Spanish-English section, or maybe one that is strictly Spanish-English. By the time I need that though, I'll probably want something geared toward that anyway.
