Meet the Jolly Jangles: A fun and interactive book for young readers

By Marilyn Cook

'Meet the Jolly Jangles' is the first in a series of books that introduces children to the world of make believe and rhyme.

The author has created the twelve teddy bears using her crochet hook, thereby giving them each a personality of their own, and children will love meeting them. The backdrop where the teddy bears are placed is vibrant, lively, and arresting and gives a good pace and movement to the rhymes. Each teddy has a question to ask to encourage children to participate in their story. Each teddy also has a magic power that encourages the child's imagination, improves their visualisation, and promotes natural sleep.

This is the perfect book for sharing together and teaches the child that no matter how different we all are we can still be friends. It is a perfect book to introduce to children in classrooms and homes to make learning fun.
